Young carers report they struggle with finding a quiet space to work or feel so tired they find it difficult to complete homework on time. Our team understands that balancing homework and caring responsibilities can be difficult. We offer educational drop ins, a homework club and study resources to support their education. We also offer all registered young carers a Young Carer ID Card that identifies them as a young carer in school.

Homework Club for Years 9-13

"Homework Club has given me more confidence and I have actually enjoyed doing my homework. I have also gained new friends."

Come to our Homework Club at Gateshead College Baltic Campus, where you can get support with Maths, English and revision. Tutors from the college will be there to give tutoring or advise about exams. If you need a quiet space to study, this is the place to be!

Every Tuesday in term time 4:30-6:30pm. Meet us at the Baltic Campus.
*There is not usually a homework club on the first week back from a holiday.
