We'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came and supported our Friday Hub on March 31st.

Once again, it was a great day for chatting to friends, neighbours and colleagues as well as fundraising.

Special thanks go to Deborah and Grant from Digging Northumberland who raised over £250 over the last month.

£90 of this was raised through the auction of a metal detector kindly donated by Caroline Winter, with the rest raised through the sale of lunches, refreshments and spray bottles at their events.

As always, our own staff have gone the extra mile to help through donations, collections and support on the day and special thanks goes to Carer Support Worker Laura Henderson.

Laura collected raffle and tombola donations from local businesses including:

  • Maguires Chip Shop
  • The Happiest Sandwich Shop
  • Kingas Cakes
  • Slay Beauty Room
  • The Field Club in High Spen
  • MJS Barbour Shop
  • Kayleigh Garner
  • Dilly Dilly's in Rowlands Gill
  • The Premier in Highfield
  • Tesco Rowlands Gill
With everyone's hard work, we raised an amazing £550 from our cake sale, refreshments, raffle, tombola and football card!

This week also saw the launch of our pop-up charity shop.

We'll be selling clothes, books, DVDs, music, toys, jewellery and household items at very reasonable prices. Massive thanks to everyone who has donated items. We'll be opening the shop regularly so watch this space for more news!
