Young carers can lead busy and stressful lives. Alongside school and helping at home, they will also provide emotional support to family members. They might even have to live with challenging or distressing behaviour. Very often, young carers are not recognised at school but they can need space to offload, share their worries and discuss ideas that will help them to manage their situation.

Sometimes the best support for young carers can be other children and young people in a similar situation. Together they can share problems and solutions in a way that helps them to understand that they're not alone. Sometimes young carers may feel that they need to talk confidentially to an adult.

We offer both one-to-one support with trained staff and peer group support where young carers can share their experiences and the solutions that have worked for them.

To access our services, young carers must first receive an assessment and register with us.
