For families that care, enjoying social time together can be a challenge.

Disability, transport and money are just some of the barriers that families need to overcome to go out together. Making arrangements can be difficult when health changes from day to day. For some, even a trip to the park can be a challenge.

We believe that illness or disability shouldn't be a barrier to families enjoying fun times together. We live in a region blessed with incredible scenery, excellent facilities and innovative projects. Sometimes all it takes is access to transport or some support from staff for families to do something together that will create lasting memories. It can be a valuable opportunity for peer support and for parents to try ideas that can do at home with their children.
